Introduction
The first module laid down key nutrition concepts and how to apply them in a basic sense in designing diets. In this second module, we will delve deeper into the science of nutrients and metabolism, as well as introduce additional topics relating to psychology, the food environment, body composition fundamentals, and tracking changes relevant to athletes. We will begin with a discussion on body composition, then move on to outlining the process of initially evaluating an athlete/client, discuss nutrient timing-, additional hydration-, and supplement considerations, and then finish with insights into how to further individualize nutrition prescription for different athletes/clients.
