MODULE 4 INTRO

Introduction

Now that we have covered all of the relevant physiology and nutrition science, you should have a good understanding of the nutrition requirements of humans, how this may differ based on different situations and different goals. We have also covered sporting specific considerations. The next step is learning how to convert all of this nutrition knowledge into an actual plan for a real person or athlete. In this module, we will first look at an overview of the step-by-step process used to develop a nutrition plan. We will then look at a few short case studies and demonstrate how to put into action what we have learned. The case studies will be presented and discussed in 3 slightly different formats, but the underlying method is the same. Note how regardless the differences in the situation, the basic principles are essentially the same.
