Level 2: Intermediate Sports Medicine Module Outline
Module 1 Learning Outcomes:
- Explain the principles of sports medicine and the roles and responsibilities of a sports medicine team.
- Define various types of sports injuries and their impact on pain and function.
- Describe the fundamentals of immediate care assessment and orthopedic assessment.
- Identify acute management strategies for sports injuries, including wound treatment and infection prevention.
- Understand the basic principles of rehabilitation and their application in sports medicine.
Module 2 Learning Outcomes:
- Outline the components of an orthopedic assessment, including subjective and objective assessments.
- Explain the purpose and methodology of special tests and functional tests in sports medicine.
- Discuss the importance of evidence-based practice in the diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries.
- Describe the principles and techniques for assessing range of motion, strength, and neurological function.

Module 3 Learning Outcomes:
