Introduction
In module two, we will move into advanced assessment strategies used in sports medicine. This expands on the knowledge base set in UFCPI Level 1 and covers regional areas in more detail. Specifically, this module will first touch on pain science and its importance in clinical and sports settings, then cover the principles underpinning advanced orthopedic assessment. This will be followed by more detailed units covering the upper, spine, and lower limbs. It is expected that at the end of this module, the reader will have a solid understanding of what encompasses advanced orthopedic assessments and how to apply this in sports settings. Here, we will detail the following areas:
