Applied Practice

In module four we will work through some examples of athlete management within combat sports. These examples will include injuries from various regions of the body and demonstrate clinical reasoning and practical skills that can be used to achieve successful outcome with combat sports athletes. By the end of this module you should have a better understand of how the knowledge gained from the previous three modules can be applied within sports medicine practice. Specifically we will cover the following return to play case examples:

• Hand Injury
• Lumbar Spine Injury
• Shoulder Injury
• Concussion
