Introduction

The first 3 module laid the ground work for understanding the role of the sports medicine professional, as well as detailing various assessments for diagnosing injuries/illness, and methods for management and care. In this module we will provide real life examples, in the form of 4 case studies. We will examine the an orthopedic assessment, communication and coordination within an interdisciplinary team, and the management of an acute injury and concussion.
